Youth And Teen Center

The Youth and Teen Center is dedicated to providing your child with a safe and nurturing environment where they can explore many wonderful activities and programs outside of the classroom. Creativity, learning, and excitement do not have to end just because the school day is over or is not in session. The Youth Services Center develops new quality programming which perpetuates children’s imagination, emotional growth, and maturity.

We offer an enriching before and after school daycare program, as well as classes focusing on sports and wellness, fine arts, performing arts, Jewish identity and recreational programs after school and during the weekend. Additional programs offered include, holiday programs when school is not in session and half day programs when the school day is shortened. Family events are continually held throughout the year enabling parents and children to have fun and spend quality time together at the Mid-Island Y JCC.

Our Teen Center offers tweens and teens recreational, educational and social programming. Exercise your brain with one of our review classes, pump your heart with our community service and leadership programs and flex your muscles with our fitness center and sports leagues like basketball, hockey and GaGa. Don’t forget to visit our Teen Lounge equipped with TVs, computers, a pool table, air hockey, foosball and video games, just to name a few.
