Alzheimer's Respite
Every 70 second somebody develops Alzheimer’s disease. There are currently an estimated 5.1 million people living with Alzheimer’s disease in the United States.
Shabbat respite offers respite for older adults affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias. Our state of the art model provides cognitive stimulation through recreational activities by incorporating well researched and proven techniques that emphasizes independence. The program is offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and offers a much needed respite for caregivers.
Our program features activities that target cognitive stimulation and help keep the mind active, as well as help to improve:

• Maintain verbal communication
• Reduce emotional symptoms
• Provide a supportive network
