Nursery and Preschool

Our Nursery School and Preschool classes are conducted by state certified teachers who teach a challenging and engaging curriculum including language development, science, mathematics, art and literature, while providing a loving and nurturing environment for your child. Each classroom follows the Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) Philosophy, which includes a framework of principles and guidelines on how a child develops and learns. That said, a daily schedule based on DAP is developed per class and includes center areas, teacher instruction, small and large group activities, outdoor play or gym, snack time and circle time. Music, movement, phys. ed., and nature specialists enhance our curriculum and serve as a resource to staff. What’s more, every child is provided daily opportunities to work individually with his or her teachers.
Enrollment opportunities for nursery and preschool are as follows:

3’s Nursery Programs (for children who will be 3 by Dec. 31st)
  • 9 am–11:45 am – Morning Session (M/W/F or M-F available)
  • 12:30–3:15 pm – Afternoon Session (M/W/F or M-F available)
  • 9 am-1 pm - Extended Morning (M-F only)
  • 9 am–3:15 pm - Full Day (M-F only)

4’s Preschool Programs (for children who will be 4 by Dec. 31st)
• 9 am-11:45 am - Morning Session (M/W/F or M-F available)
• 9 am-1 pm - Extended Morning (M-F only)
  • 12:30–3:15 pm – Afternoon Session (M-F only)
  • 9 am–3:15 pm - Full Day (M-F only)

• Morning Daycare is available with all above classes from 6:30–9 am. Please click on “Before & After-School Care” tab for additional information.

• Afternoon Daycare is available starting at 11:45 am (with lunch), 1:00 pm, or 3:15 pm and ending as late as 6:30 pm, Mon. – Thurs. & 5:30 pm, Fri. Please click on “Before & After-School Care” tab for additional information.
