Early Childhood Camp

CAMP DATES:
Full Session – 6/26-8/17

Half Session – 6/26-7/23 or 7/24–8/17

Our counselors plan activities and experiences which will encourage a fun-filled summer in a nurturing atmosphere. Each program has its own unique daily schedule, which includes group activities, outdoor play, music and movement, and many other special experiences to enhance your child’s summer days.

You can choose to enroll your child in any of the following Early Childhood Summer options…

GAN TEANOK

(For 6 weeks - 1 1/2 years old)

M-F 9:30 am-3 pm

A full-day prgram that includes socialization experiences, motor-development opportunities, sensory stimulation, daily play, rest time, music, and morning outdoor stroller-walks. Before and after care are available.

GAN T’CAMP
(For children who are 1 1/2 year-2 1/2 years old)

M-F 9:30 am-3 pm

A full-day camp experience that includes daily arts & crafts, story time, rest time, free play plus scheduled sprinker play and music twice a week.

Before & after care are available. Transportation available for those who are at least 2 years old.

K’TON TON
(For children who are 2 by July 1st or enrolled in Toddler Playgroup for September)

M/W/F or Tu/Th, 9:30-11:30 am

Designed for those who are ready to be without parents. Our camp will ease your child into his/her camp experience with special emphasis on separation and socialization.
Children need not be toilet trained.

YELADIM
For 2 1/2- 3 1/2 years old nursery)

T/Th/F or M-F 9:30 am-12 pm or 1 pm
(1:00 pm pick up for 5 days only)

Yeladim offers our older toddlers an opportunity to play, interact, and share new experiences with friends in a fun and safe environment. Our Extended Day Program is designed for those preschoolers who would benefit from a longer day. Please send Extended Yeladim children with a bagged, kosher dairy peanut/tree-nut free lunch. Transportation is available. Children need not be toilet trained.

CAMP S.P.A.D.E. (Summer Program For Academic & Developmental Enrichment

For children enrolled in 4 year Nursery or Kindergarten for September

M-F 9:30 am-1:00 pm

It's never to early to nurture your child's curiosity and interest in learning. Young children often demonstrate an extraordinary ability to absorb information and learn new concepts. This summer, we will help childrem as young as three years of age develop a love of learning and build essential readiness skills. Nurture children's natural curiosity and intellectual development, while fostering a positive attitude and passion for learning. Please send children with a bagged, kosher dairy peanut/tree-nut free lunch. Transportation is available.

CAMP CHAVERIM
For 2 1/2- 5 year olds

M-F 9:30 am - 3 pm held in the JCC building

Designed to give your child a a medley of activities including daily swim, various sports, art, music, and more. A nutritious kosher peanut/tree nut-free lunch is included. Children must be toilet-trained.

HIGH FOURS
For children enrolled in 4 Year Nurseryin September

M-F 9:30 am - 3 pm
M/W/F at the JCC
T/Th at the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds

Designed to offer your child the opportunity to enjoy a full week camp experience at both the Mid-Island Y JCC building and our Henry Kaufman Campgrounds. A nutritious kosher lunch is included. Children must be toilet trained.

HIGH FIVES
For children entering Kindergarten in September

M-F 9:30 am - 3 pm
M/W/F at the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds
T/Th at the JCC

Designed to give your child a full camp experience that builds self-esteem and independence. This program offers fun at both the JCC and the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds. A nutritious kosher lunch included. Children must be toilet trained.
