Full Session – 6/28-8/19

Early Childhood Summer Camps

Junior Day Camp – Children entering Grades K-4

This program is a well balanced combination of our instructional and recreational activities. A typical day consists of morning activity, 2 swim periods, (one instructional and one recreational swim), 4 activity periods, lunch and an afternoon snack. Your child will participate in Special Events, Day trips, Theme Days, Late Nights, and an optional Overnight for our 3rd and 4th graders.

Sports Camps

For those children who want to play sports every day while they enjoy their summer. Our program includes daily instruction and training with a lot of game play. Sport 34 and Sport 56 summer clinic highlights will include baseball, basketball, lacrosse, football, soccer and hockey. Counselors in our Sports Camps are specifically selected for their specialized athletic training, skill and ability. Sports Camp is involved in our camp-wide events, theme days, morning arrival activities, late nights, day trips and overnights.

• Sport Rishon
– For children entering Grades 1 & 2
Sports Rishon includes all Junior Camp activities, 1-2 periods of sports, one sports theme per week, professional  instruction with athletic staff and developmentally appropriate skills training. 

 • Sport 34 – For children entering Grades 3 & 4
This is a specialized camp program for children who only want to play sports all day, every day. Campers are split into grade appropriate units and have 2 swim periods (one instructional, one recreational), 4 sports activity periods, lunch, and  snack before we depart for home. All sports activities are designed and taught by our professional athletic staff including  clinics and tournaments. We focus on skill development, quality game play and the importance of good sportsmanship. Our  sport camp program will help increase children’s knowledge and ability of the sports we offer, including; Soccer, Baseball, Football, Basketball, Hockey, Tennis, Archery, Camp Games, and Lacrosse. Our 3rd and 4th grade campers have 3 day trip each session, totaling 6 for the full summer and an optional overnight. Day trips are to destinations such as Adventureland, a Mets or Yankees Game, and Fishing on a charter boat.

 • Sport 56 – For children entering Grades 5 & 6
This is a specialized camp program for children who only want to play sports all day, every day. Campers are split into grade appropriate units and have 2 swim periods (one instructional, one recreational), 4 sports activity periods, lunch, and snack before we depart for home.  • Camp 56 – For children entering Grades 5 & 6
This program is an evolution of our Junior Camp program for campers as they get older and want to begin traveling. Their time is split between our exciting camp activities and the open road. When on the campgrounds, each day starts with a spirited camp-wide morning activity, 2 swim periods (one instructional, one recreational), 4 activity periods, lunch, and snack before we depart for home. The activity periods are well balanced so children experience all the wonderful camp programs we offer. Each session includes 4 day trips and one overnight totaling 12 full days of travel for the full summer.  Day trips include; Splish Splash, Adventureland, a Mets or Yankees Game, and Fishing on a charter boat. Overnights may  be to destinations such as Club Getaway, Hershey Park and Dorney Park.

• Cultural Arts Camp (CPAC)
- For children entering Grades 1-9
CPAC offers an intensive theater education plus fun activities. Children spend half a day at the campgrounds participating in various activities and swim. The second half of the day is spent at the Cultural Arts Playhouse in Plainview learning theatrical arts in preparation for two summer shows. Campers will learn the behind the scenes of theater including; lighting, sound, costumes, set design and building.
